Other advantages of sythetic ice rinks:
- Long life – EZ-Glide 350 panels can be used on both sides. With regular maintainance the useful life of 10 - 15 years can be reached .
- The surface is good especially for beginners and children who learn to skate faster on this surface than on classic ice, and therefore gain higher certainty and self-confidence. Furthermore, falls are not as dangerous as on ice, as the fall itself is slower and therefore less painful.
- Synthetic ice-rink does not need roofing, in the case of some dirt, this does not in the short term damage the polymer surface, it has however an effect on the sharpness of the skates (regular maintenance is therefore essential)
- With flat and clean surface the rink can be installed without any platform which even more reduces the costs for project realization.
